
Dr. Brian L. Quarton, M.D. originally from Carlinville, graduated from the University of Illinois in 1991. After completing medical school at Southern Illinois University in 1995, he completed the Family Medicine Residency Program at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana in 1998. He was Chief Resident in his third year. He was certified Diplomat by the American Board of Family Medicine in 1998 and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
He is also a Member of the American Academy of Sports
medicine.
Dr. Chris. P. Poirot, M.D. originally from Nashville, Illinois, graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1978. After completing medical school at the U of I College of Medicine in Rockford in 1982, he served his residency in Family Medicine at the Methodist Medical Center in Peoria from 1982 to 1985. He received the CIBA Geigy Netter Atlas Award for excellence in residency. He was certified by the American Board of Family Practice in 1985 and is a fellow of the American Academy of Family physicians. He was additionally certified in Geriatric Medicine in 1992.
Dr. Bruce F. Weber, M.D. originally from Henry, Illinois, is a graduate of the University of Illinois and the U of I College of Medicine in Peoria. He completed a three year residency in Family Medicine at the Methodist Medical Center, also in Peoria, in 1985 where he was the Chief Resident in his third year. He was certified by the American Board of Family Practice in 1985 and is a Fellow of the American Board of Family Practice. Upon completion of his residency he entered private practice in Family Medicine. He gained additional certification in Geriatric Medicine in 1992.
Jason Manthei, PA-C originally from Janesville, Wisconsin, graduated Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology-Exercise Science. Worked in physical therapy while obtaining his degree, he completed an internship in exercise physiology at the University of California-San Diego. Mr. Manthei obtained a Masters of Medical Science-Physician Assistant degree from Saint Louis University. As part of his training, he completed a preceptorship in internal medicine at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri. Mr. Manthei is a member of the Illinois and American Academies of Physician Assistants and is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Marsha Wright, PA-C from Carlinville, Illinois, graduated from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. As a Registered Nurse she has had an extensive career including intensive care nursing, school health nursing for Native Americans in Alaska, teaching nursing students in tertiary college while living in Australia and supervising patient care in the surgical and outpatient departments. Ms. Wright graduated as a Physician Assistant from the Department of community Medicine and Rural Health in the School of Medicine at the University of North Dakota. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She has been employed with our practice since 1996 and specialize in women’s health care.
Jaclyn Bennett, PA-C originally from Crown Point, Indiana, graduated in 2003 from Indiana University Bloomington with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Ms. Bennett obtained a Masters of Clinical Medical Science and Physician Assistant Certificate in 2008 from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the Illinois, Missouri and American Academies of Physician Assistants, as well as the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Ms. Bennett’s special interests include women’s health, dermatology, and preventive health. |
